Saraswoti Puja is celebrated by Little Stars Mahalaxmi Primary School children in Okharpauwa today. This day is special for the children to worship the goddess of wisdom and learning. Some years back, this day used to be the “marrying day” of the children below 15, but after the successful “Education Project” of Little Stars since 2007, child marriage has been eradicated. Now the children/people are aware about the demerits of Child marriage.
